Our Vision
CentrePark's vision is to become a
multiplying community of faith, hope and love that shares
the life-changing good news of Jesus Christ in a culturally
relevant way, so that people are reconciled with God and
communities are transformed. We will connect with God
and each other, empower people and develop partnerships to
serve our community and the world beyond.
Our Mission
CentrePark's mission is to be a place for people to belong,
to relate to others, and connect with God while serving
others and building the community.
By the year 2015 we plan:
∞ To have five congregations worshiping in three locations
∞ To support five to seven paid pastoral staff, together
with support staff and staff who work primarily in the
community
∞ To develop a third of our pastoral staff from within our
own congregations
∞ To implement five ongoing community related projects or
partnerships whose primary focus is out in our community
∞ For each congregation to have a decentralized leadership
team organized from within that group
∞ For all groups to function within the vision, mission and
core values of the whole body.
We want everyone in our different congregations to be
connected to a group for spiritual growth.
We purpose for a minimum of fifty percent of our growth to
come from people who were previously unchurched
We will intentionally equip, coach, mentor and empower our
people to serve in teams.
We will target a minimum of twenty percent of budget to
ministries that are outside our immediate community.
