CentrePark Church is a place where people come first, a
place to connect with people, to build friendships and
discover the life-giving truths Jesus teaches us about
community. The church community is also a place where you
join others in journeying together, learning to live your
life for Jesus’ sake.
This happens best when you have others with you on the
journey – encouraging, supporting, helping, strengthening.
God did not make us to live solo lives. He himself exists
in relationship as Father, Son and Spirit, and he created
us with a similar need for fellowship and community.
Having people around you is important! It breaks the
depersonalizing mould that is characteristic of our age and
brings us into a mutual relationship of love and submission
to one another. That’s the way God designed it, and us.
That’s why people are important.
